Who processes your data

The controller of the data collected on this site is Auto Restelo Lda (tax no. 502155663), with registered office at Rua General João de Almeida 50-A, 1300-267 Lisbon. For any question about this policy or your data, write to vendas.autorestelo@gmail.com or call 213 617 940.

We do not have a designated Data Protection Officer — given the size of the company, one is not required. These requests are answered by management, directly.

What data we collect

We collect only what you give us voluntarily, through the forms on this site:

/Vehicle contact form: name, phone, email and the message you write.

/Newsletter: the email address only.

/Technical browsing data: IP address, device type and pages visited, collected in aggregate so we know which vehicles draw the most interest.

We do not collect special-category data and we do not ask for anything not needed to answer your request. There are no hidden fields in the forms.

What we use the data for

Each piece of data has a single, declared purpose:

/To answer your enquiry about a specific vehicle, by phone, email or message.

/To book a visit to the showroom or a test drive.

/To send the newsletter, if you subscribed to it — and only in that case.

/To improve the site, from aggregate browsing statistics.

We do not use your data for behavioural advertising, we do not build purchase profiles and we do not make automated decisions about you.

On what legal basis

Processing of the contact-form data is based on your consent, given by ticking the box before sending the message, and on the legitimate interest in replying to those who reach out to us.

The newsletter is based solely on consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

If the conversation leads to a purchase, the legal and contractual obligations of selling a vehicle also apply, with retention periods set by law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. Full stop.

The data is accessed by service providers strictly necessary to run the site and the business — website hosting, email service and newsletter platform — all bound by a data-processing agreement and required to process the data only on our instructions.

Where the law requires it, data may be disclosed to competent authorities. Otherwise, it does not leave here.

For how long

We keep data only as long as the purpose that justified it requires:

/Enquiries that do not lead to business: up to 24 months after the last contact.

/Newsletter subscriptions: until you cancel the subscription.

/Documentation of completed sales: for the legally required retention period.

Once the period ends, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Your rights

Regarding your personal data, the law grants you the right to:

/Know what data we hold about you and obtain a copy.

/Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

/Request deletion of the data, where there is no legal obligation to keep it.

/Restrict or object to certain processing.

/Withdraw consent at any time, without having to give a reason.

/Lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to work and aggregate visit-statistics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not share browsing data with social networks for targeting.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the site still works; we simply stop knowing which pages were most viewed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the last-updated date at the top of the page changes with it and the new version replaces this one here. We do not retroactively change the purposes of processing without informing you.

Exercise your rights

Write to us and we reply within one month. You do not need to justify the request or use a special form.
